Clare Demerse researches and analyzes government policies to reduce greenhouse gas pollution. She works with a range of stakeholders and also acts as a spokesperson in the media. Clare has been a policy analyst with the Pembina Institute's Climate Change Program since March 2006. The program is a centre of expertise on Canadian greenhouse gas reduction policy, with a particular focus on industrial emissions and emissions trading. Clare has worked on Parliament Hill and holds a master's degree in journalism from Carleton University in Ottawa.

Matthew Bramley is one of Canada's best known advocates for stronger government policies to address climate change. He is the author of numerous reports and articles on climate policy and is frequently cited in the media. Matthew has been Director of the Pembina Institute's Climate Change Program since 2001. The program is a centre for analysis and research on Canadian greenhouse gas reduction policy, with a particular focus on industrial emissions and emissions trading. Matthew has a PhD in theoretical chemistry from the University of Cambridge.

Dr. Marlo Raynolds is the Executive Director at the Pembina Institute. He has worked with the Institute since 1995 in the development and practical application of triple-bottom-line decision-making tools, energy systems, and strategies for sustainability. Marlo has worked with a wide range of clients including many of the large Canadian energy companies. Marlo holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering (University of Alberta), a B.Sc. in Systems Design Engineering (University of Waterloo), and a Masters in Management and Leadership for the Voluntary Sector (McGill University). Dr. Raynolds is also an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Sustainable Development at the Haskayne School of Business, University of Calgary.
